Lauren Kastner

My yoga journey started back in 2007 when I took my first Bikram class. I was hooked immediately. I knew this yoga was for life! The benefits I have received from practicing the 26&2 series are many. I am physically and mentally stronger, and I have developed better focus and patience inside and outside of the room. My love and passion for this yoga led me to attend an OHYA certified teacher training at Bikram Yoga North Texas in Fall 2021, where I received my 300hr teaching certification. It is an honor to teach and share my passion for this yoga with all in the hot room!


Lauren Kastner instructs the following:
  • Classic 90 (26+2)
  • Classic 90 minute class is the original set series of Bikram Hot Yoga. Students learn 26 postures and 2 breathing exercises. The class is practiced in a room heated to 105 degrees with 40% humidity. The Bikram Hot Yoga set series of postures has been taught since 1965. Class is designed for the beginner yoga student and body. All levels welcomed. It's never too late! Start anytime! Music is played on Fridays.

  • Express 60 (26 + 2)
  • 60-minute class has the same 26 postures and 2 breathing exercises as the Classic 90 minute class. The series has been abbreviated to meet the 60 minute time frame.The class moves at even pace. This class is great for those short on time or just need to get an extra class in for the week. Beginners are always welcome. It's never too late! Start anytime! Music is played on Fridays.

  • Guided Express 60 (26+2)
  • Teacher is silent on the mat practicing with the students. 26 postures and 2 breathing exercises. Best suited for students that have taken 5 Classic 90 or Express 60 Hot Yoga Classes. Music is played in this class.
